Delegate FAQs

As we’re hosting the Surpass Conference virtually for the first time, we want to make sure that every delegate feels informed and ready to enjoy 3 days of engaging presentations and workshops.
We hope these FAQs answer any questions you might have about the event, but if you have any further questions, please contact events@surpass.com.

What’s the difference between a delegate pass and a viewer pass?

The delegate pass gives you access to all live conference sessions, including the user group and special interest group breakout sessions.

If you have a viewer pass, and are not a member of the Surpass Community, you’ll have access to most of the sessions, with the exception of breakout sessions and sessions which are exclusively for Surpass Community members. During this time, ‘viewers’ will be able to watch alternative Surpass Community content such as recent webinars.

Please note, that if you are a Surpass Community member and have a viewer pass only, you will still be able to access all content, as with a delegate pass.

Where can I find out what’s on, when?

The full programme is available here. Please keep checking back for updates as more sessions get confirmed closer to the time.

How do I join the conference each day?

Everyone who has registered for the conference will be contacted with an access code prior to the event. At the event start time, the live stream can be accessed at surpass.com/live.

All sessions can be watched from here, with the exception of breakout sessions which will be delivered on a different platform. We’ll ask you to sign up to these sessions in advance so that we can send you the correct joining information.

Do I need to sign up for sessions?

We will be asking delegates to sign up for the user group and special interest group sessions in advance, as there will be a number of sessions on different topics running in parallel.

Look out for an email in the coming weeks with details of the sessions and how to sign up.

How do I access the breakout sessions?

Providing you have signed up for a session, you will be contacted in advance of the conference with joining details for the sessions you have chosen.

Will I get the opportunity to ask the presenters questions?

Yes, many of the session will be followed by a Q&A, and questions can be submitted at any point during the event using the chat window below the live stream.

We may also ‘premier’ some of the keynote sessions to selected delegates to gather questions in advance of the session. If you’d like to be included in this and have your question put to the keynote speakers, please email events@surpass.com.

What if I’m having technical difficulties and cannot access the live stream?

If you cannot access the live stream, please email events@surpass.com in the first instance and someone will be in touch as soon as possible.

An alternative YouTube stream will also be made available.

Will the sessions be recorded and distributed afterwards if I’m unable to attend some of them?

Yes, following the event, the majority of the presentations will be available to watch on the conference website, with the exception of some breakout sessions, and presentations which are exclusive to the Surpass Community.

How do I join the networking event?

Information will be circulated via email in advance of the conference about opportunities to network during the event.

I’ve seen a presentation that’s really sparked my interest. Can I follow up with the presenters afterwards to carry on the conversation and find out more?

Many of the presenters will share their details during their presentations and would be happy to connect with you. If details aren’t shared, please contact events@surpass.com and we’ll make every effort to connect you.
